What is this “No Plastic Bag Day” on Saturdays all about? |

This “No Plastic Bag Day” on Saturdays at KL SOGO is in support of the Malaysian Government’s nation-wide campaign to reduce the use of plastic bags to help conserve the environment. This campaign is also in line with our efforts in encouraging the growth and adoption of green initiatives in our organisation. We are doing our bit to help save the world. |

Where can I purchase the KL SOGO reusable shopping bags, and how much are they? |

Our reusable shopping bags are available at all cashier counters and are affordably-priced at RM3 each. |

How many types of reusable bags are available at KL SOGO? |
| |
We are starting with one design and we will soon have many more, and they are different for our Supermarket and Fashion Departments. So stay tuned! |

Do S Card members get special discounts for the reusable bags? |
| |
There are currently no special discounts for S Card members. |

Do I get complimentary reusable bags with my purchase? |
| |
The complimentary reusable bags are only available for new S Card Application or Renewal. |

Where will sales proceeds from the plastic bag sales go to? |
| |
All proceeds collected will be donated to selected special funds or organisations for environment conservation. |

If the Warehouse Clearance Sale or S Card Members’ Sale falls on a Saturday, will I be charged 20 cents for each plastic bag? |

Plastic bags will be provided free for all invited guests to these closed door sales. |

Will I be required to undergo security check should I choose to exit the store without a reusable bag or plastic bag for my purchase? |

Security checks are routine exercises and there will not be any discrimination on “No Plastic Bag” days. |

Can I recycle used plastic bags for purchases at the store? |

Yes, you may but we would encourage you to participate in the programme by going green whenever you can. The earth belongs to everyone! |

Other than the “No Plastic Bag Day on Saturdays”, we have also prepared recycle bins for the convenience of our shoppers. |

Can I bring my own reusable shopping bags when I shop on a non-Saturday? |

Yes. Shoppers are encouraged to participate in this campaign and we welcome the bring-your-own-bag practice. |
